For Wilson Golf Management

The portfolio,
rebuilt.

Apple Mountain proved the framework. The five sister courses — Catta Verdera, Coyote Moon, Empire Ranch, Teal Bend, Turkey Creek — now ship on the same architecture, each with its own brand identity. Six sites, one operator, one design family, all live today.

The architecture

One codebase. Six brand identities. Every site lives on the edge.

Apple Mountain set the pattern. The architecture, the design tokens, the scroll-driven motion system, the Cloudflare deploy pipeline — all portable. Each sister course is a re-theme plus content, not a fresh build, and every one of them now ships from the same machinery.

  • Native iOS shell via Capacitor — App Store-ready if the GM wants it
Six properties. One operator. All live.

Apple Mountain was acquired by Acorn Enterprises in January, but Wilson Golf Management still operates it — alongside the five sister courses across Northern California. Every property below now runs on the shared mobile-first architecture, with course-specific palettes, photography, and copy.

Five sister courses · all live

Five distinct identities. One coherent design family.

Each course got its own palette, photography direction, and editorial voice — derived from its geography, history, and existing brand signal. The architecture stayed identical, so they feel related without looking cloned. Open any tile below to walk the live build.

01
Empire Ranch Golf Club
Folsom, CA · Public Access

"Country club quality, but the everyday club."

The everyday club, dressed up.

Empire Ranch's existing positioning — "country club quality public access" — was right; the old site just looked generic. We traded the templated navy for saddle brown and brass, leaned into the Sierra foothill light, and put tee times and the Greenside Grille on equal footing.

  • Nested dropdowns replaced with a full-screen mobile overlay nav
  • Greenside Grille rebuilt as a real F&B destination with full menu and photography
  • Retina hero shot — dusk light, oak silhouettes, golden-grass roughs
  • Tournaments and tee-time CTA promoted above the fold on mobile
02
Teal Bend Golf Course
Sacramento, CA · Wetlands Public

"250 acres of wetland — the most natural course in the metro."

The wetland angle, finally on the surface.

The name is literal. The old site used sage-teal but buried the wetland story under generic chrome. We pushed the Audubon angle, the Sacramento River banks, the dawn waterfowl light — and let the native-habitat differentiator do the marketing.

  • Wetlands story now leads the page (native species, riverbank ecology)
  • Nav restructured: Course / Dining / Events / Tee Times
  • Hero gallery rotates dawn / mist / golden-hour
  • Junior Academy has its own destination page
03
Turkey Creek Golf Club
Lincoln, CA · Oak / Quarry Public

"Make the Escape — the course locals don't tell you about."

The quarry shot, finally above the fold.

"Make the Escape" is the best existing tagline in the portfolio. The old Golf Channel Solutions template buried the iconic 18th-hole quarry-lake view three clicks deep. We surfaced it immediately and let hunter green do the rest of the work.

  • Hero is the 18th-hole quarry bridge shot — full bleed, ken-burns
  • Oak canopy photography across hole-by-hole sections
  • "Make the Escape" voice carries through the copy
  • Quarry Bar & Grill rebuilt as a real menu page with full photography and events CTA
04
Coyote Moon Golf Course
Truckee, CA · Alpine Destination

"A Mountain Masterpiece — finally on a site that says so."

Alpine premium, the only mountain course in the family.

Coyote Moon's existing tagline is good. The old site didn't deliver on it. We gave the only Tahoe-area course in the portfolio the premium destination treatment it deserves — pines, granite, Trout Creek, a moonlit color story — and an honest Bar & Grill section that matches what the kitchen actually publishes.

  • Cinematic hero — misted fairways, ponderosa, granite outcrops
  • Twilight palette tuned for evening rates and sunset event marketing
  • Bar & Grill page with honest "Known For" menu (no fabricated prices)
  • GM direct line surfaced for group outings and tournaments
05
Catta Verdera Country Club
Lincoln, CA · Semi-Private CC

"The only semi-private property — pitched accordingly."

Members & their guests — modernized.

Catta Verdera is the only semi-private property in the family and the only one trading on heritage. We modernized the feel without touching the category — oxblood and champagne replace generic navy, and the membership inquiry path now sits above tee-times.

  • Collapse 6-deep nav into four destinations: Club / Golf / Membership / Events
  • Promote membership inquiry as the primary funnel (their differentiator)
  • Editorial photography: clubhouse loggia, Stables Grill, golden hour
  • Event quoting form for Weddings + Corporate

Pricing

One simple package, billed per course.

Each course operates as its own entity, so each property bills separately — no bundles, no shared invoices. The same flat number works for one site or six, and the monthly fee already includes the dev time you'll need to keep content fresh.

For the GM

Four moves to take your sites live on your own domains.

The rebuilds are done. The only thing left is to point each course's domain at its new home — on whatever schedule works for you and your team.

01

Walk the sites yourself

Open the six tiles above. Each is a live build sitting on Cloudflare, ready for you and your CEO to scrutinize — phones, laptops, anywhere.

02

Tell us what to fix

Flag anything you want adjusted on any course — copy, photo, color, a phone number, a menu item. Changes turn around in days, not weeks.

03

Point the domain

When you're ready, point each course domain at its Cloudflare address — or hand us Cloudflare access for that domain and we'll handle it. Same playbook we used for Apple Mountain.

04

Keep it cared for

Monthly hosting at $59 per course includes five hours of dev time — seasonal photo swaps, menu updates, tournament copy, anything you need without a new invoice.
